I. Description This position provides professional support to senior staff in the area of government and community relations at different levels from commune, ward, and town. The job holder should have knowledge of government policies affecting the company’s business area, ability to interpret government affairs in light of the company’s operations, and ability to support advocacy efforts on behalf of the company. The job holder will work in our office in Phan Thiet City. II. Key responsibilities - Advises on implications of the company’s plans and actions and ensures government opinion and other factors which could affect the company are taken into account. - Responds to enquiries from government representatives and community in accordance with the company’s confidentiality standards. - Monitors, analyzes and interprets existing and proposed government legislation and its impact on the company’s activities. - Plans and coordinates cooperation between government representatives and representatives of the company. - Maintains communication channels between local authorities and the company. - May interface directly with mid-level government authority professionals. - Prepares materials for meetings and other events involving government representatives. - Supports the Stakeholder Manager in preparing position papers and news releases. - Advocates for company's positions with local government representatives. - Coordinates and participates in major events organized by local government authorities. - Take leadership role in community engagement and CSR activities in the province.


III. Qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience: 1. Qualifications - Minimum a university degree or equivalent preferably in international relations, economics, management, communications or related field. Master’s degree is an asset. 2. Professional experiences - At least 7-10 years working experience in government relations, public relations and/or community relations. - Having a strong relationship with local authorities and organizations in Binh Thuan province. 3. Skills and knowledge - Excellent writing style both in Vietnamese and English - Excellent command of MS-Office - High degree of flexibility and dynamic work ethic - Results-oriented, self-management - Good team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Strong knowledge in areas such as government relations, public relations and community relations.
