Chief Accountant - Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai
Salary negotiable

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Oversight & Reporting: Direct daily, weekly, and monthly accounting operations, including Financial Statements, P&L, Revenue, CapEx, and tax compliance for executive review.

  • Internal Controls & Auditing: Supervise daily financial transactions, purchase orders, inventory counts, bank reconciliations, and asset registers to ensure strict operational compliance.

  • Cash Flow & Risk Management: Monitor overall hotel liquidity, cash flow forecasts, contract management, insurance claims, and commission approvals.

  • Strategic Leadership & Alignment: Brief the General Manager on daily financial operations, manage annual budgeting, and oversee cross-departmental financial workflows.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Experience Required 5–8 years total accounting experience, including 3–5 years as a Chief Accountant or Accounting Manager in the hospitality industry

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and hotel systems (PMS/ERP like Opera and Carmen Systems)

  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis

  • Managing financial statements (P&L, balance sheets), internal controls, tax compliance, audits, budgeting, and lead the accounting team

  • Strong leadership, high integrity, detail-oriented, ability to work under pressure, and good English communication skills
